About Kaylum
Kaylum has recently completed his Pre-reg Master's in Physiotherapy, building on his Bachelor's degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation achieved in 2023, during which he gained valuable experience working with Derby Rugby Club and Derby University.
His experience spans private practice, hospital settings — including Derby Royal Hospital and Barnsley Hospital — and elite-level sport, having worked with Sheffield Wednesday FC and Derby Rugby Club.
Kaylum adopts a holistic and patient-centred approach to physiotherapy, recognising that pain and injury are often influenced by more than just the injured tissue. Rather than simply treating symptoms, he aims to understand the wider factors that may be contributing to a patient's condition — including lifestyle, work demands, physical activity levels, previous injuries, sleep, and stress. His hands-on treatment style is paired with tailor-made, individualised rehabilitation plans built around your specific needs, lifestyle, and goals, to get you back pain free and doing what you love again.
Kaylum also has wide experience working with people with neurological conditions including Stroke, Parkinson's, and Dementia. Combined with his MSK and Sports Rehabilitation skillset, this gives him the ability to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and holistic rehabilitation for a wide spectrum of patient needs.
